At Pasapas, we believe that mental clarity begins with protecting your privacy. This policy explains transparently how we handle your information, from local storage on your device to secure synchronization for our Premium members.

1. Our Philosophy: Local-First

For users of the free version, your data (projects, tasks, savings history) is stored exclusively locally on your device via a SQLite database.

  • Total Confidentiality: We have absolutely no access to this data.
  • Responsibility: If you delete the application without being a Premium member, this data will be permanently lost because it never leaves your phone.

2. Data Collected and Purposes

We process your data based on the following legal grounds: performance of a contract (to provide you with the service) and your consent (for advanced analytics and marketing).

A. Identification (Sign-in with Apple)

If you create an account via Sign-in with Apple, we collect your unique Apple User ID. If you consent, we also receive your name and email address to personalize your experience.

B. Premium Members (Cloud Synchronization)

To provide backup functionality for your progress, business data (project titles, amounts, statuses) is replicated on our servers via Supabase. This synchronization is technically necessary to perform the Premium service.

C. Subscriptions and Purchases

We use RevenueCat to manage your Premium rights. RevenueCat processes purchase receipts provided by Apple to validate your subscription.

Important Note: We only have access to transaction data, not your payment information. No banking details (card numbers, banking credentials) are collected or stored by Pasapas; this information is managed exclusively by your device's App Store.

D. Analytics and Improvement (PostHog)

To understand how Pasapas is used and to detect potential bugs, we collect usage data (screens viewed, clicks) via PostHog.

  • By Default: This data is associated with a random identifier (pseudonymized) and does not allow us to identify you.
  • With Strict Consent: In line with our ethical standards, this usage data is only linked to your identity (name, email) if you have explicitly authorized tracking via Apple's system alert (App Tracking Transparency / ATT).

E. Advertising Measurement (TikTok Ads)

We use the TikTok Ads SDK to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and understand if our ads encourage users to download Pasapas.

  • Data Collected: The SDK transmits technical event data (installation, opening the application, purchasing a subscription), technical device identifiers (such as the IDFV), your IP address, and contextual information (phone model, operating system version).
  • Privacy Respect: This conversion data is transmitted in an anonymized and aggregated form via Apple's SKAdNetwork protocol. Your precise advertising identifier (IDFA), which allows targeted advertising tracking from one app to another, is only collected and transmitted to TikTok if you grant explicit consent via Apple's system prompt (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, no targeted advertising tracking will occur.

F. Push Notifications

If authorized, we collect a secure Device Token to send you reminders about your goals. You can disable them at any time in your phone's settings.

3. Data Sharing and Subprocessors

We never sell your data. To operate the application, we work with the following partners, selected for their high security standards:

  • Supabase (Servers located in Europe): Cloud database hosting and authentication (Premium).
  • RevenueCat (Servers located in the United States): Technical subscription management.
  • PostHog (Servers located in Europe): Product analytics tool.
  • TikTok Ads (Servers located in the United States/Global): Advertising campaign effectiveness measurement (only with your explicit consent via the ATT prompt).

Note: For transfers outside the EU, we ensure that these partners guarantee an adequate level of protection via standard contractual clauses.

4. Your Rights, Data Retention, and Deletion

  • Retention Period: Your data is retained as long as your account is active.
  • Right to be Forgotten (Total Deletion): Pasapas features an account deletion option in the app settings. This action triggers the irreversible erasure of your profile on our servers (Supabase), the anonymization of your tracking data (PostHog/RevenueCat), and the purging of your local database. Server-side technical backups are purged within a maximum of 30 days.
  • Your Other Rights (GDPR): You have the right to access, rectify, and port your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@pasapas.app.
  • Local Reset: A "Reset" function also allows you to clear only your local data.

5. Data Security

All communications between your application and our servers (Supabase, RevenueCat, PostHog) are encrypted end-to-end using the HTTPS/TLS protocol, ensuring your information travels safely.

6. Protection of Minors

Pasapas addresses savings themes and is not intended for children under 13 years old (or the digital consent age in your country). We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

7. Liability

While we use cutting-edge technologies, Pasapas is a personal organization tool. The publisher cannot be held liable for data loss related to a malfunction of your personal device, accidental deletion, or a failure of the user's network.

8. Amendments to this Policy

We may update this document occasionally to reflect changes in the application. Major changes will be signaled to you via an app update or a notification.
